Overview Napier City Council is undertaking the installation of a new 100mm (125mm OD) watermain on Barker Road and requires the aid of a sub-contractor to install a new 100mm (125mm OD) watermain pipe using trenchless construction methods while minimising disruption to the surrounding area. Scope The scope includes: Potholing Excavation of launch and receiving pits Supply of all drilling plant and equipment Pipe welding Completion of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) along the nominated alignment Installation of the supplied watermain pipe within the drilled bore Contractor Requirements Compliance with all project-specific health and safety requirements
