NZTA is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Contract Administrator, as defined in NZS 3910:2023, supported by an MSQA team to provide construction contract management services. The Contract Administrator must one individual who hold, or be able to obtain by tender submission, current NZTA Level 4 Accreditation for Engineer to Contract and NZTA Level 4 Accreditation for Engineer’s Representative. NZTA is seeking a supplier that can demonstrate, with evidence, their capability to: support the procurement of a construction contractor by participating as a member of the tender evaluation team during the physical works tender process, including contractor-led interactive meetings; manage the construction contract and fulfil the role of Contract Administrator as defined under NZS 3910:2023 during construction; provide independent monitoring, surveillance and quality assurance activities; and work closely and constructively with the NZTA Project Manager and the Contractor to support the successful delivery of the project. Electronic copies of the tender documents are attached to this advertisement. All tender communications must be submitted through the online forum Questions and Answers Portal. Responses to tender questions and clarification requests will be issued by Notice to Tenderer and made available through the online portal addenda. Tender submissions must be uploaded to the eTender Box as two separate files in PDF format, together with an Excel spreadsheet for the Schedule of Prices. The file upload limit is 50MB. Tender submission files should be labelled as follows: File No. 1 – Contract No. 13038 – Tender, excluding Price; and File No. 2 – Contract No. 13038 – Price. Briefing - An online Group Tenderer’s Briefing will be held at 10am on Wedneday 1 July 2026. Please confirm your attendance (up to two people per tenderer) by emailing the Tender Secretary at tender@nzta.govt.nz by 2:00pm Tuesday 30 June.
