Financial Planning Tool

Overview New Zealand Police is seeking proposals for an interim Financial Planning Tool (FPT) and associated implementation and support services. Purpose The solution is intended to improve and automate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, reducing reliance on spreadsheet-based processes and improving the quality, consistency and auditability of financial information. Scope The scope includes: Supply of an off-the-shelf software package for financial planning, to be hosted in a Police cloud environment or as a virtualised on-premises option Capabilities including budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, driver-based planning, workforce planning and reporting Implementation and support services for the tool Initial support for approximately 30 Finance Users, with the tool managed by Finance and deployed to this limited user group Integration with current and future Police financial systems using asynchronous, loosely coupled and event-driven integration patterns Contract Terms and Conditions Implementation is required by May 2027 Enquiries Contact: tenders.national@police.govt.nz
