About this tender
Overview Network Tasman Limited is inviting expressions of interest from parties capable of providing reliable flexible demand services within the electrical supply area of the new Brightwater Grid Exit Point (GXP). The service is intended to reduce electricity demand and defer consumption during winter morning and evening peak periods, supporting efficient utilisation of the connected network. Scope The scope includes: Provision of up to 5 MW of controllable demand deferment Provision of up to 18 MWh of deferred energy per operating day Availability during 7:00 am to 11:00 am and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, from May to October inclusive Delivery of a portfolio of one or more solutions, which may include partial solutions, provided they are measurable, dependable and can be aggregated into a coordinated service Instructions to Tenderers EOI release date: 3 September 2026 Deadline for questions: 21 September 2026 You will need to register for a free adcentre account in order to download the documents.
