Overview Auckland Council is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to activate, operate and manage the Woodhill Sands Equestrian Centre site. About Woodhill Sands Equestrian Centre is a significant equestrian facility located on James Mackie Road, Helensville, within the Rodney Local Board area. The site has historically been used as a regional equestrian venue and presents opportunities for broadened activation, increased community use, diversified revenue streams and enhanced recreational outcomes. The Woodhill Sands site is currently owned by the operators of Woodhill Sands Equestrian Centre. Auckland Council is in negotiations with the current owners for the acquisition of the site. Purpose This RFP is issued in anticipation of Auckland Council's acquisition of the Woodhill Sands site. This RFP, and any arrangement resulting from it, is conditional on the sale and purchase agreement being signed, the agreement becoming unconditional and settlement of the council's acquisition of the site being completed.
