Overview Queenstown-Lakes District Council (QLDC) is seeking concise proposals from suitably qualified and experienced forestry and ecological experts to prepare a Harvest and Restoration Plan for the Ben Lomond Reserve. Scope The scope includes: Assessment of options for harvest and staged removals within the Ben Lomond Reserve Preparation of a Harvest and Restoration Plan supporting a healthy and diverse forest ecosystem Consideration of measures to reduce wildfire risk through the reserve Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in forestry Suitably qualified and experienced in ecology Instructions to Tenderers QLDC will not be arranging a site visit for this tender. However, as Ben Lomond Reserve is a public reserve, respondents are encouraged to visit the site.
