Health NZ invites registrations of interest from the open market for the provision of design and build services for the Gisborne Hospital Road Network Upgrade project, as further outlined in the ROI and supporting documents. The Opportunity Health NZ – Tairāwhiti is undertaking the Gisborne Hospital Road Network Upgrade Project to rehabilitate and restore the internal road network servicing Gisborne Hospital. The Project seeks to address widespread pavement failure across critical access roads, entrances, and internal routes within the hospital campus to improve safety, ensure reliable access for emergency and service vehicles, and support the ongoing operation of the hospital. Through staged pavement rehabilitation and targeted holding treatments, the Project will deliver a durable, long‑life roading solution that aligns with available funding while minimising disruption to patients, staff, and visitors. Site visits are to be arranged with shortlisted suppliers at the RFP stage. Contact : Jonathan Bird Email : jonathan.bird1@tewhatuora.govt.nz Telephone : 0225916573
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
