About this tender

Overview Far North District Council is seeking a consultant to carry out High Productivity Motor Vehicle (HPMV) Evaluations on six bridges. About These bridges have been packaged together as they are all monolithic concrete bridges (one-piece cast in-situ beams, deck and abutments) with similar construction details. The Council expects that there may be some time and monetary efficiencies in evaluating these as a package. Purpose The purpose of this procurement is to secure a consultant to carry out HPMV Evaluations on the six identified bridges. Scope The scope includes: HPMV Evaluation of Kaitaia-Awaroa Road D58: RP 18800m HPMV Evaluation of Broadwood Road H13: RP 3374m HPMV Evaluation of Broadwood Road H14: RP 5645m HPMV Evaluation of Broadwood Road H15: RP 6554m HPMV Evaluation of Broadwood Road H34: RP 10079m HPMV Evaluation of Iwitaua Road H31: RP 8487m Contractor Requirements Consultant must have previously completed HPMV bridge evaluation work Consultant must have a suitably qualified Chartered Professional Engineer who can certify the evaluations
