Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) is seeking Registrations of Interest from experienced specialists in river geomorphology to engage one individual to serve as a member on the Independent Review Panel (the Panel). The Panel will review and evaluate documents associated with the resource consents which authorise GWRC to undertake river management activities in Te Awa Kairangi / Hutt River and Wainuiomata River. GWRC is committed to continually improving our good management practices within our rivers to address channel design challenges and evolving cultural and environmental standards and expectations. The Panel review is part of this process, and a regulatory requirement under the resource consents. GWRC is looking to engage a supplier who has the skills, knowledge, and expertise in river geomorphology to provide valuable input to the document review and the Panel's recommendation report. To ensure the Panel is independent from GWRC, we require a supplier who can demonstrate independence and impartiality and has not had a previous or current working relationship with GWRC in relation to these consents. A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
