Overview Far North District Council (FNDC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the design and construction of new treatment infrastructure to upgrade the existing Kawakawa wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). Purpose The upgrade will replace a failing asset and provide capacity to support planned housing growth in the area. The design and construct delivery model reflects the site's challenging ground conditions, which will benefit from contractor design input, and the compressed timeframe needed to meet a funding milestone under the National Infrastructure Funding Facility (NIFF).
