Overview Through this Notice of Intent (NoI), the Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) is advising interested parties of its intention to go to market to attract suppliers for the supply of geotechnical, natural hazard and risk advice to support Structure Planning for the Te Kirikiri Frankton and Wānaka high growth areas. Purpose As part of the Structure Plan, it is vital to identify any land constraints that could impact land use, including any constraints arising from natural hazards. Scope The opportunity is to supply geotechnical, natural hazard and risk advice, including but not limited to: Undertaking geological hazard characterisation for Te Kirikiri Frankton and Wānaka Confirming which geological, flooding and seismic hazards are considered capable of impactful consequence within the areas of interest Undertaking a qualitative natural hazard risk assessment to support the development of the Structure Plan and future plan changes Enquiries Contact: Procurement Administrator Email: ProcurementStrategyPolicy@qldc.govt.nz
