Overview Timaru District Council is seeking a contractor with the capacity, resources, and flexibility to deliver a package of roading, drainage and stormwater improvement works along Cartwrights, Kellands Hill and Rosewill Valley Roads, collectively referred to as the "SH1 Resilience Route". The works will improve the resilience, reliability, and safety of this important transport corridor, which serves as a key alternative north-south route to the State Highway network. Scope The scope includes roading, drainage and stormwater improvement works across the following separable portions: Site 1: Cartwrights Road and Pleasant Valley Highway (SH 8) Intersection Site 2: Cartwrights Road and Rosewill Valley Road Intersection Site 3: Rosewill Valley Road, Kellands Hill Road, Washdyke Flat Road, Seaton Road and Spur Road Intersection Site 4: Kellands Hill Road Rehabilitation Site 5: Rosewill Valley Road Rehabilitation Contract Terms and Conditions The works are proposed as separable portions. Depending on tendered prices and available funding, Council reserves the right to award only selected separable portions and may not proceed with all components of the programme.
