Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a contractor to undertake demolition and asbestos removal works to Block C at Marlborough Girls' College as part of the college's Stage 2 redevelopment. About Marlborough Girls' College is a single sex high school located in Blenheim. The demolition and asbestos removal portion of works covered by this RFT forms part of that process, with a separate tender to be undertaken for the refurbishment of Block C. Scope The scope includes: Partial demolition of the single storey section of Block C, including the existing toilet block and storage area Removal of asbestos identified throughout the building Invasive testing to confirm the full extent of asbestos removal required Completion of the demolition and asbestos removal works will enable the next phase of the Block C redevelopment to begin. Contract Terms and Conditions Works are aimed to be undertaken during the 26/27 Christmas holiday period to minimise disruption to the school
