Network Service Provider
Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview Thames Coromandel District Council (TCDC) is seeking a Network Service Provider to support its ongoing network services requirements. The future requirements from TCDC are for network services to continue to focus on deploying SaaS solutions, which requires changing and adapting the characteristics of the support to quality of service and looking at business outcomes. The timeframe under consideration will potentially extend through to 2029, so the approach must be forward looking and potentially address questions that cannot yet be defined. It is critical that the Network Services supplier is able to work constructively and collaboratively with all parties, and at times "hang their hat at the door" when engaging in support services. TCDC will be looking for evidence of this type of working relationship when selecting the ideal supplier, including how the supplier is proactive in avoiding issues, works with all parties as required to achieve the client's goals, and accepts accountability for the outcomes. The cultural fit and demonstrated alignment of the supplier is a key factor in the selection. TCDC will be heavily reliant on the supplier and will need to have a very high degree of trust and confidence in how they manage the network infrastructure. Objectives The procurement objectives are to: Conduct the process in a rational, fair, and defensible manner Identify suppliers that best meet the criteria and in which there is the greatest level of confidence Assist TCDC to achieve long-term value-for-money Contractor Requirements Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with all parties, including setting aside individual interests when engaging in support services Evidence of proactively avoiding issues and working with all parties as required to achieve the client's goals Demonstrated acceptance of accountability for outcomes Demonstrated cultural fit and alignment with TCDC Ability to manage network infrastructure to a very high degree of trust and confidence Enquiries Contact: John Wing john.wing@zephyr.co.nz
How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
