About this tender
The Ministry is seeking a supplier or supplier consortium to design, build, document, test and transfer the New Zealand Flood Map Stage 2: National Model. The procurement is for a reusable national modelling asset and associated geospatial outputs. The model package must be a national flood hazard model that is modular, transparent, auditable, maintainable and capable of future uplift. Outputs must include raster flood hazard layers, vector flood inundation extents, metadata, confidence information, QA evidence, a consolidated Model Technical Report and supporting documentation that can be ingested into the framework designed as part of the Stage 1 work for the New Zealand Flood Map, and later published or reused through approved Ministry channels.
