About this tender
New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) is seeking a lessee operator with experience and expertise in delivering the operation and management of holiday parks and motor camps to provide high-quality campground attributes and customer services in order to ensure the Waitara Holiday Park Motor Camp is safely, sustainably, and professionally operated for the benefit of visitors, the local community, mana whenua, and Council. Our overall objectives include securing a suitably experienced and capable lessee, delivering outstanding customer service, enhancing the reputation and visitor experience of the campground, providing stewardship of Council assets, supporting community-led and culturally aligned outcomes, attracting visitors to the district, and achieving a fair and reasonable financial return for Council while respecting and strengthening relationships with mana whenua.
