About this tender
Overview Health New Zealand (Te Whatu Ora) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified organisations, including consortia or partnerships between organisations, to design, deliver and maintain a national Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Capability Programme for clinicians working in eligible rural and remote urgent and after-hours care settings. Purpose The programme must support clinicians to safely achieve, demonstrate and maintain competency in POCUS practice within their professional scope. This procurement is not seeking a one-off training course; Health NZ is seeking providers capable of delivering an end-to-end capability programme. Scope The scope includes: Design, delivery and maintenance of a national POCUS Capability Programme for clinicians in eligible rural and remote urgent and after-hours care settings Education to support competency development in POCUS practice Supervised practice Image review Assessment Peer support Quality assurance Maintenance of competence Tender Briefing A provider briefing has been scheduled for this opportunity.
