Overview Whangarei District Council (WDC) is looking for suitably qualified and experienced suppliers with the capability and resources to deliver Parking as a Service activities within the Whangārei district. This opportunity relates to a pre-tender supplier briefing ahead of the formal procurement process. Scope Delivery of Parking as a Service activities within the Whangārei district Instructions to Tenderers WDC will conduct a two stage procurement process, seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI), followed by a closed Tender process (RFT) with suppliers selected from the first stage. WDC intends to have selected a preferred tenderer before Christmas, with contract award early 2027. This supplier briefing is intended for parties likely to tender on the upcoming procurement activity. WDC reserves the right to decline any registration responses at its sole discretion, and registration does not guarantee an invitation to the Supplier Briefing. Tender Briefing WDC will hold a Pre-Tender Supplier Briefing to provide industry with information about this upcoming procurement activity. During the briefing, WDC will discuss a summary of the contract scope and the procurement programme. The briefing is intended to be brief and informative, with time for questions to be answered during the meeting where possible, or by email afterwards. Date: Wednesday 5 August Time: 9:30am NZDT Suppliers wishing to attend must email laura.devcich@wdc.govt.nz with the subject line "[Organisation Name] – Supplier Briefing Registration" no later than 5pm on Monday 3 August 2026, and advise in that email if a Teams link is required for attendance. Once registered, attendees should check their inbox for an email confirming the time and venue for the briefing.
