Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a fire and security services contractor to carry out fire alarm remediation works at Ōtaki School, Ōtaki, Kāpiti Coast. About The buildings at Ōtaki School are currently reliant on an original Type 1 bell system and interfaced security system as their fire protection infrastructure. Scope The scope includes: Installation of a new and comprehensive Type 4 fire alarm system Installation of a new main indicator panel Installation of compliant exterior sounder coverage Installation of lock down facility Provision of a direct fire service connection Isolation, disconnection and removal of the existing security system's smoke detectors Reversion of the monitored security system back to intruder detection only Instructions to Tenderers All communications must take place through the GETS Question & Answer function.
