RFT for Main Contractor for Drainage Works at Parua Bay School

Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a main contractor to carry out drainage works at Parua Bay School. About The school is situated on the side of a hill and suffers from substantial water run-off through the carparks to the school and playcentre. CCTV investigations found that the existing underground stormwater system and outlet from the school is too small and it regularly gets inundated. The gravel carpark to the playcentre has no existing drainage and is continually being eroded by water coming off the road reserve and school carpark above. Scope The scope includes: Installation of drainage to the playcentre carpark Construction of a concrete surface to the playcentre carpark to prevent ongoing erosion Upgrade of the undersized underground stormwater network to provide additional capacity, carried out at the same time as the playcentre carpark works Instructions to Tenderers Any queries relating to this tender must be submitted using the GETS question and answer service.
