Overview Kawerau District Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified contractors, suppliers, designers, and/or consortia for the design, supply, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, documentation, training, and defects support for a new pool heating system at the Kawerau Aquatic Centre. Scope The scope includes: Design of a new pool heating system for the Kawerau Aquatic Centre Supply of the pool heating system Installation of the pool heating system Integration of the pool heating system Testing and commissioning of the pool heating system Documentation for the completed system Training on operation of the system Defects support Contractor Requirements Tenderers must be suitably qualified contractors, suppliers, designers, and/or consortia Information Requested Tender submissions must include a complete methodology, proposed system description, capital price, annual running cost model, and all assumptions necessary for Kawerau District Council to compare proposals on a like-for-like basis. Site Inspection Tenderers must attend site and verify existing conditions, including pipework, plantroom constraints, electrical supply, controls, structure and support requirements, access, and other relevant site constraints, before submitting a tender. Failure to complete a site verification may result in the tender being deemed non-conforming. Site inspection period: Thursday, 3 September 2026 to Wednesday, 16 September 2026 Arrangement: By appointment with the Contact Person Instructions to Tenderers Tenders will be evaluated using the Lowest Price Conforming (LPC) method. Tenders must satisfy all administrative requirements, mandatory technical requirements, and non-price attributes to be considered conforming. Technical compliance with Sections 7 and 8 forms part of the conformity assessment. Price evaluation will only be undertaken for tenders confirmed as conforming.
