About this tender

This is a Physical Works contract for the construction of a new bridge structure and approach works to replace the existing single lane Ramarama Stream bridge. The new bridge is located just north of Whiritoa on SH25 and will improve resilience in extreme weather events on the critical link to the Coromandel. The Contract Works comprise of: • Construction of a new bridge offline • Earthworks • Retaining walls • Stormwater improvements • Utility relocations • Pavements and sealing • Demolition of the existing bridge • Liaison with landowners • Scour protection • Fencing • Barriers • Traffic management • Tree clearing, trimming and landscaping Only tenderers pre-qualified to level “Bridge Construction – Level B (3B)” and “Construction – Level B (4B)” under the terms of the Transport Agency’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.
