Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a Main Contractor to deliver the full scope of the Block A Refurbishment works, including enabling works, at Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Orini ki Ngāti Awa. Scope The Contract Works required are: Demolition and making good, including associated electrical and data works suitable for temporary admin accommodation Recladding and re-roofing Internal alterations and fit-out, including new internal partitions, relocation of the kitchenette, and new wall, floor and ceiling finishes Upgrade of building services to suit the new layout, including electrical, data, HVAC and hydraulic services Upgrade to a Type 4 Fire Alarm System, integration with the sitewide fire alarm system, including the Fire Brigade Connection External works, including replacement of decking boards, construction of a retaining wall, drainage, carpark works, and making good of the existing driveway Refurbishment of the adjacent toilet block Removal of asbestos, as may be required Instructions to Tenderers All communications must take place through the GETS Question and Answer function.
