ClosedClose date: 9 July 2026

About this tender

The DCC’s long term engineering and specialist support (LTES) panel, contract number 7860, expires on 30 June 2026 and has no further renewal options. This is a request for proposals from experienced consultants/specialists that are interested in forming a panel to support the DCC in delivering its commitments in the long-term Plan (LTP). This new panel will be called - Te Paewhiri Mātanga (The Expert Panel) and will be for an initial term of 5 years. What’s most important DCC requires specialist support across all technical DCC groups to deliver its obligations with sufficient capacity to ensure the timely delivery of projects. We are aiming to: Rationalise supplier numbers. Improved scoping accuracy. Enhance the operating model. Ensure better reporting, visibility and accountability. Achieve best possible value for money. Maintain competitive tension. What we don’t want We do not want suppliers on Te Paewhiri Mātanga that: Are not aligned to the DCC’s LTP commitments. Do not benefit from participation.

How to respond to this tender

A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Read the requirements in full

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal

Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
