About this tender
New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) is seeking a technical supplier who will be responsible for providing, assembling, and operating all staging, sound, lighting, and production infrastructure required for the TSB Festival of Lights entertainment programme for a term of 3 years. This includes supplying and constructing festival staging, installing and operating sound systems and stage lighting, and delivering all associated technical services for live performances and pop-up events across the festival. These main requirements will be at the Hatchery and Fred Parker Lawn areas with special events within Pukekura Park during the event calendar. The supplier will provide competent sound and lighting technicians, manage full technical setup and pack-down for each event, oversee on-site production operations, and ensure reliable, safe, and high-quality delivery of all scheduled entertainment throughout the festival season of December & January. The Contractor shall provide comprehensive technical production, staging, and operational support services for the TSB Festival of Lights entertainment programme.
