About this tender
Overview Queenstown Lakes District Council has issued this Request for Tender (RFT) for airside infrastructure works at Wānaka Airport (WKA), to enable the airport to meet the qualifying requirements for CAA Part 139 operating certification. Scope The scope includes: Widening and grading of the sealed runway (RWY) 11/29 strip, out to 75 metres either side of the RWY centreline, including extending and grading around the culvert at the RWY11 end and regrading the terrace/embankment along the terminal side of the RWY, and associated works Upgrading the grass RWY11/29 surface to grade out irregularities to CAA Part 139 compliance Construction of a sealed, parallel taxiway (TWY) from TWY A2, southeast to the RWY29 end Construction of a sealed aircraft engine run-up pad for Code A aircraft Associated works, per the attached specifications and drawings Enquiries Contact: Dave Palmer, dave@tdzprojects.co.nz
