The works include: Approximately 424 m of DN180 PE100 PN12.5 pipeline in the road in Kermode Street Ashburton, including associated laterals, fittings and civil works. Renewals are in the following areas: Kermode St (East St – Mona Square) Kermode St (West St – Park St) Approximately 219 m of DN180 PE100 PN12.5 pipeline in the road in Cass St (Havelock St – Wills St) Ashburton, including associated laterals, fittings and civil works. Approximately 1,214 m of DN180 PE100 PN12.5 pipeline, and 770 m of DN63 PE80B ridermain pipeline in the berm and road in the Methven area, including associatedlaterals, fittings and civil works. Renewals are in the following areas: Cameron St (Alington St - South Belt) Jackson St (Alington St - South Belt) McMillan St (South Belt - Bank St) Bank Street (McMillan St - Main St) Alington St (Cameron St - McMillan St) Service Lane off McMillan St Reinstatement of existing service and supply connections along the existing water main alignment and new connections to the existing water mains. What We Are Looking for From Tenderers The Principal is looking for a Tenderer who can: • Demonstrate proven expertise and track record in the watermain renewals. • Provide the necessary commitment and resources including all labour, plant, tools, equipment, and materials to construct the proposed works efficiently and in accordance with the specification. • Implement proactive strategies to enable the timely completion of the Contract Works. • Develop and implement innovative work methods and/or materials that result in enhanced performance and an overall cost saving. • Comply with all conditions and requirements of the contract documents including standards, quality assurance and health and safety. Work to all sites includes establishment and disestablishment, setting out the works, collection and preparation of As-built data for in accordance with council standard. The sites are in Ashburton and Methven.
