Whakatane Intermediate School - Roofing Remediation Works

Overview The Whakatane Intermediate School Board has issued a Request for Tenders for Roofing Remediation Works at Whakatāne Intermediate School. The works comprise all investigations, repairs, replacements, and associated construction activities required to address identified defects within the existing roofing systems across the school. Purpose The works are intended to eliminate sources of water ingress, improve the overall performance and durability of the roof assets, and maintain a safe and weathertight environment for staff and students. Scope The scope includes: Investigations, repairs, replacements, and associated construction activities to address identified defects in the existing roofing systems Replacement and repair of roofing materials, flashings, gutters, downpipes, roof penetrations, and skylights, and associated components as required Any necessary reinstatement works Contractor Requirements All works must be carried out in accordance with current building standards, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practice to ensure the long-term integrity and serviceability of the roofing systems
