About this tender

RFT260048 - CCTV Preferred Supplier Arrangement & Maintenance & Support Contract Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC) is establishing a Preferred Supplier Arrangement for CCTV services, combined with a region-wide maintenance and support contract. Council’s mandatory standard CCTV platform is Verkada. Tenderers must be capable of supplying, installing, and supporting Verkada cameras and licensing. Responses proposing alternative camera platforms will not be accepted for CCTV supply under this tender. The engagement covers: Part A: Design, supply, installation, commissioning and upgrade of Verkada CCTV systems across Council sites. Part B: Ongoing maintenance and support for Verkada CCTV, selected legacy CCTV systems, and Cambium 60GHz fixed-wireless infrastructure supporting CCTV connectivity. The contract supports Council’s ongoing CCTV expansion, standardisation, cyber security improvement, and service reliability across metropolitan and remote locations. Council operates CCTV across a large regional footprint, with a mix of Verkada and legacy camera systems currently in place. As part of its modernisation program, Council has adopted Verkada as its preferred and mandatory CCTV platform for all new installations, upgrades and replacements. Key compatibility requirements: Verkada camera supply and licensing is mandatory for all Part A works. Suppliers must integrate CCTV with existing Council infrastructure, including networks, PoE, cabinets, wireless backhaul and power arrangements. The support scope includes Verkada systems, selected legacy CCTV platforms, and Cambium 60GHz wireless links used for CCTV connectivity. Works occur across diverse environments, including public facilities, depots, utilities, aquatic centres, and remote or low-attendance sites. Tenderers must demonstrate the technical capability, licensing, and experience required to work safely, securely and consistently across Council’s varied operating environment. Council is seeking a supplier that delivers reliable Verkada-based CCTV outcomes, supported by strong documentation, proactive maintenance, and clear accountability. Mandatory and core conditions: Supply and support of Verkada CCTV systems only for new and upgrade works. End-to-end delivery: design, installation, commissioning, handover and lifecycle support. Compliance with WHS, privacy, cyber security and Australian Standards. Clear warranties, Verkada licensing management, and vendor coordination. Service and performance expectations: Defined SLAs for incident response and restoration, including options for after-hours support. Proactive maintenance programs to reduce outages and repeat faults. Asset, architecture and as-built documentation kept current and accurate. Transparent reporting, monthly metrics and quarterly service reviews. Project and operational benefits to Council: Standardised, secure and scalable Verkada CCTV environment. Improved system availability and public safety outcomes. Faster procurement through a preferred supplier model. Better lifecycle visibility for budgeting and capital planning. Reduced risk through consistent workmanship, governance and documented processes.
