About this tender

Overview The Queensland Public Trustee, acting on behalf of the Department of Justice, invites pre-qualified category 1 Gaming Licensees to tender for Gaming Machine Operating Authorities in the South East, Coastal and Western regions. Scope The scope includes the sale of Gaming Machine Operating Authorities across the following regions: South East Region: 8 available authorities, minimum acceptable price $439,756.00 Coastal Region: 1 available authority, minimum acceptable price $152,290.00 Western Region: 12 available authorities, minimum acceptable price $153,506.00 Eligibility Tenderers must be pre-qualified category 1 Gaming Licensees All tenders must be submitted on the authorised Tender Sale Bid Form Only one Tender Sale Bid Form per licensed premises, per region, may be submitted All tenders must comply with the Conditions of Tender as set out in the tender documentation Contract Terms and Conditions Successful tenderers will be required to make full payment within five (5) business days of notification of acceptance of their tender Successful tenderers must pay an Authorised Sale Administration Fee of $782.00 (GST inclusive) for each Operating Authority purchased Stamp duty is payable by the successful tenderer on each Operating Authority purchased Instructions to Tenderers A non-refundable Lodgement Fee of $80.00 (GST inclusive) is payable to the Public Trustee with lodgement of each Tender Sale Bid Form Tenders must be lodged in the Tender box, located at Public Trust Office, Reception 1, Ground Floor, West Tower, 410 Ann Street, Brisbane No facsimile, posted or email tenders will be accepted Tenders close 4pm Wednesday 26 August 2026 Tender conditions are available at: https://www.pt.qld.gov.au/about-us/publications-and-resources/gaming-authorities Enquiries Public Trustee, Paul Gaffney: (07) 3564 2572
