Civil Construction and Electrical Works - Pimlico

Overview Economic Development Queensland is seeking to procure a civil contractor to lead civil construction and electrical works external to the TAFE Pimlico redevelopment site at Townsville, comprising roadworks, stormwater drainage, and water reticulation. About The TAFE redevelopment site is currently occupied by demolition contractor The Markwell Group, who are undertaking the demolition of Block F at the northern end of the site, removing building slabs and associated foundations, and removing all existing in-ground services within the TAFE redevelopment site. Scope The scope includes: Supply of all necessary labour, materials, plant, and equipment required to construct infrastructure external to the TAFE Pimlico redevelopment site Construction of roadworks, stormwater drainage, and water reticulation external to the development site Minor intersection upgrades along Fulham Road Minor road widening of the northern east west road Creation of a new water main along the northern east west road surrounding the site Liaison with the Demolition Contractor to relocate the safety fence installed behind the existing kerb and channel, to enable construction of the road verge to the east west road
