Supply and Install of Intelligent Transport Systems & Electrical Equipment (ITS&E)

Overview The Department of Transport and Main Roads, Mackay and Whitsunday District, invites suppliers to register their interest in a two stage procurement for TOT26495, Supply and Install of Intelligent Transport Systems & Electrical Equipment (ITS&E). About Stage 1 is the Expression of Interest (this tender). Submissions received at tender close of Stage 1 will be evaluated based on the non-price evaluation criteria, and notified shortlisted suppliers will form a Contractor Registration List (CRL). This will form the Master Agreement, which will be under MIC-CO Terms and Conditions. Stage 2 will engage shortlisted suppliers via a Request for Quote (RFQ) (or similar) for work packages with site specific scopes. Each work package will have separate commencement and completion dates. Region Region applying to the Contract: Central Queensland Region, Mackay Whitsunday District (MWD). Infrastructure Infrastructure applying to the Contract: Intelligent Transport Systems and electrical (ITS&E) assets on the state-controlled road network, including traffic signals, road lighting, CCTV, variable message signs, flood and weather monitoring, communications infrastructure and associated electrical infrastructure. Local Government(s) Local Government(s) applying to the Contract: Mackay Regional Council, Isaac Regional Council and Whitsunday Regional Council. Scope Establishment of the Mackay TOT ITS&E Contractor Registration List (CRL), a register of pre-assessed contractors, covering: Supply, installation, maintenance, inspection, renewal and upgrade of ITS and electrical assets Emergency make-safe works Periodic electrical verification Routine ITS&E maintenance Associated minor civil works Works are delivered as individual work packages issued under the Master Agreement in accordance with the relevant MRTS technical specifications. Contract Terms and Conditions Type of Contract: Construct Only, Minor Infrastructure Contract (Construct Only). Stage 1 of a two-stage procurement: open Expression of Interest to establish the Mackay TOT ITS&E Contractor Registration List (CRL), forming the Master Agreement Nature of Contract: Schedule of Rates, rates offered, evaluated and accepted as part of Stage 1 as part of the Master Agreement Project Number(s): Individual work packages issued under the Master Agreement will have unique project identifiers Practical Completion: Two (2) years from the Date of Acceptance of Tender, with three (3) further periods of one (1) year each exercisable at the discretion of the Principal.
