Overview Banana Shire Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified contractor to rectify concerns with a commercial pool heater at the Moura Pool facility, Davey Street, Moura. Heater Details Solarwise Commercial Pool Heater Pump Serial number: 4780915 Model: MEESW3177-3119-2C-H About The heater has been turned off since May 2026. Upon starting the system with a new water pump, it was found that Side #1 is short cycling. It is believed that both Side #1 and Side #2 have refrigerant gas leaks that will need to be located and repaired before both sides are re-gassed with refrigerant. No schematics or circuit drawings are currently available for this machine. Due to the unknown nature of the heater and its concerns, a variation may be likely to complete additional works after the works described below have been completed, to ensure the system is ready to use by 25th August 2026. Scope The scope includes: Removal of existing gas Gas system leak isolation and rectification Re-gassing the whole system Replacement of 2x moisture filters Commissioning of the system Accommodation and travel All labour, materials, equipment hire, etc. Contract Terms and Conditions Works must be completed by 25th August 2026 Information Requested Quotes should include evidence of: Previous works completed on similar systems Relevant licensing Availability to complete the work Contractor Requirements All works must be completed to Australian Standards Risk assessment and safety documentation must be provided to Council before commencement
