Overview Mackay Regional Council invites suitably qualified and experienced café, hospitality, food and beverage operators to submit a tender for the lease, fit-out and operation of a new café/eatery within the Northern Beaches Community Hub at Rural View, Mackay. About The successful Tenderer will enter into a retail shop lease for a purpose-built café tenancy located within the Northern Beaches Community Hub, Rural View, Mackay. The tenancy will be provided as a shell fit-out. Scope The scope includes: Lease of a retail shop within the Northern Beaches Community Hub Delivery of a tenant fit-out within a purpose-built café tenancy Design, fit-out, commissioning and operation of the café in accordance with the lease documentation, fit-out requirements and associated approvals Operation of a vibrant community-focused café destination servicing library users, community groups, families, visitors and the broader Northern Beaches community Provision of indoor dining, kitchen facilities and an outdoor dining area Delivery of innovative café concepts, community partnerships and activation initiatives Contractor Requirements Experience in café operations, hospitality management, food service, community activation, commercial fit-outs and customer-focused service delivery Demonstrated experience in café, food service, hospitality or similar customer-focused businesses Ability to deliver a quality fit-out and sustainable operating model Experience operating within community, recreational, library, education or public-focused environments will be viewed favourably Contract Terms and Conditions The successful Tenderer will enter into a retail shop lease for a purpose-built café tenancy The tenancy will be provided as a shell fit-out Council may consider a fit-out contribution towards approved fit-out works The outdoor dining area is non-exclusive Tender Briefing A site briefing will be held prior to tender close.
