Overview The Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety (QLD) is seeking a service provider to deliver Connecting Kin, Equipping Kin, Supporting Kin, and Supporting Foster Care services for Mainstream/ATSICCO's in the Bundaberg region. Scope The scope includes: Connecting Kin (T210): targeted family mapping and engagement leading to new family connections or family members making application to be assessed as kinship carers, with an engagement focus Equipping Kin (T211): supporting initial kinship carer assessments, including provisional approval assessments, and providing all necessary supports to have kinship carers approved so they can commence caring, with an assessment focus Supporting Kin (T212): supporting approved kinship carer households, including provisionally approved carers, and supporting all ongoing assessments and renewals, focused on supporting care arrangements so families remain caring for as long as required, with a retention focus Supporting Foster Care (T214): supporting approved foster carer households, including provisionally approved carers, and supporting all ongoing assessments and renewals, focused on supporting care arrangements so foster carers remain engaged and caring for as long as possible, with a retention focus Responding to care arrangement requests via Unify as part of Supporting Foster Care services Managing up-to-date foster care agreements as part of Supporting Foster Care services Supporting care arrangement matching with the provider's pool of approved foster carers as part of Supporting Foster Care services Contractor Requirements Outsourced non-government Connecting Kin and Equipping Kin services may work in conjunction with current regional Child Safety Finding Kin teams.
