The Queensland Rail Multi-User Sunshine Depot (located in Geebung, Brisbane), is a large operational facility comprising offices, workshops and various Queensland Rail activities. Queensland Rail is seeking a Contractor for the relocation and consolidation of the existing training facility into a dedicated, purpose-built Queensland Rail facility within the depot. The new facility will enhance operational efficiency by centralising staff training and improving accessibility, as personnel will be able to travel to the site via train. The selected Contractor will be responsible for construction of a new Training Facility at the Sunshine Depot site which includes a covered concrete hardstand training area and a storage building incorporating a welding bay. The anticipated Commencement of work is October 2026, noting this is indicative only.
