Project Budget is $850,000 The objective is to deliver a high quality, inclusive, destination level nature play, recreation and public art outcome that: • Reflects the Scenic Rim’s identity, including mountains, waterways, agriculture and biodiversi-ty. • Integrates play, storytelling, public art and landscape into a cohesive civic place. • Achieves high play value consistent with Council’s Playground Strategy (2019) (Attachment E) objectives for destination level playgrounds. • Provides durable, low maintenance infrastructure suitable for long term public use and Council asset management. The deliverables include, but are not limited to: • Earthworks and formation of mounds and embankments. • Waterplay elements, rills and interactive features. • Play structures and recreation elements. • Shade structures incorporating artistic treatments. • Public art integration and storytelling elements. • Paths, hardscape, seating and associated civil works. • Electrical, lighting and hydraulic services. • Landscaping (excluding additional tree planting).
