The Queensland Police Service, Water Police (QPS) currently operate a fleet of commercial vessels that provide critical maritime capabilities including patrol, personnel transport, search and rescue support and logistical operations. QPS is releasing this Invitation to Offer (ITO) to seek submissions from experienced Domestic Commercial Vessel manufacturers for the delivery of a suite of vessels to replace its ageing fleet. Improvements in technology and manufacturing processes means the QPS is seeking to update the fleet to modern standards to comply with regulatory changes in maritime safety, fuel efficiency and environmental compliance. An industry briefing is being held on 24 June and Supplier should note that in order to submit an offer, they must attend the mandatory industry briefing.
