Overview CQUniversity Australia is seeking submissions from suitably qualified contractors to undertake the construction of a new fleet vehicle car park at the Rockhampton North Campus, via this Request for Quote (RFQ). About CQUniversity is undertaking the consolidation of its TAFE operations into the Rockhampton North Campus as part of the University's broader campus redevelopment program. This project includes the construction of new facilities to support the expanded educational footprint. Purpose The existing fleet vehicle car park is required to be relocated to accommodate the proposed building footprint associated with the redevelopment works. Scope The scope includes: Construction of a new fleet vehicle car park, including all associated civil, security, and accessibility works necessary to deliver a complete and operational facility Supply and installation of a new 2100mm high spear-top security fence around the entire car park, excluding the entry driveway, equivalent to the Queensland Department of Education minimum requirements for construction and installation of school security fencing Supply and installation of security lighting to illuminate the car park for after-hours access, ideally solar type lighting providing a minimum of 100lux for the car park with a dimming feature to 30% of total lux when no movement is detected Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified contractors are sought to undertake the construction works
