Engineering and Trade Consulting Services Panel Shortfall Process
Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is conducting a targeted shortfall process under the Engineering and Trade Consulting Services Panel (QBCC2026132) to address identified gaps in supplier coverage across specific service categories and geographic regions. About The QBCC established the Engineering and Trade Consulting Services Panel under procurement QBCC2026132 to support the Building and Technical Inspectorate's statutory inspection, investigation and regulatory functions. During evaluation of the original procurement, specific service categories and geographic regions were identified where supplier coverage was insufficient to support operational requirements. Appointments arising from this process will be incorporated into the existing Engineering and Trade Consulting Services Standing Offer Arrangement and governed by the existing Standing Offer Arrangement terms and conditions. This process does not establish a new panel arrangement, alter the approved scope, or extend the term of the existing Standing Offer Arrangement. Purpose The purpose of this procurement is to address service category, technical expertise and geographic coverage shortfalls identified during the evaluation of QBCC2026132. Scope The scope of this procurement is limited to the service categories and geographic regions identified in Attachment B. The Principal may appoint one or more suppliers as a result of this Invitation to Offer, who will be incorporated into the existing Engineering and Trade Consulting Services Standing Offer Arrangement to provide services within the categories and regions identified in Attachment B. Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
