Mechanical Fabrication and Fitting - Southern Water Treatment Plant Project

Overview Toowoomba Regional Council (Council) invites suitably qualified and experienced mechanical fabrication and fitting contractors to register their interest in potential subcontracting opportunities associated with the Southern Water Treatment Plant Project (SWTP). This mechanical fabrication and fitting works package is anticipated to be procured and managed by the appointed main contractor as part of the broader delivery of the Project. Scope The works package is likely to include: Detailed design support and shop detailing of mechanical equipment and associated infrastructure Fabrication, supply and installation of mechanical equipment and associated infrastructure for the water treatment plant, treated-water reservoir and pumping facilities Inspection, testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment and associated infrastructure Supply and installation of process pipework, penstocks, lamella clarifiers, pumps and fittings Supply and installation of supports, structural steelwork and other fabricated metalwork Specialised equipment installation and alignment Welding, protective coatings, pressure testing and flushing
