About this tender

Overview Mount Isa City Council (MICC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced water infrastructure contractors to deliver three coordinated water main work packages under this Contract. Scope The scope includes: Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crossings at Lagoon Creek and Duchess Road Completion of the remaining open-trench Duchess Road Water Main Extension works along Duchess Road, Price Road, Croft Road and McIntosh Road Replacement of approximately 1.5 km of the existing DN150 water main at Northridge Road with a new main constructed adjacent to the existing main Separable Portion 1: HDD Works, Lagoon Creek Crossing and Duchess Road Crossing Trenchless installation of Council-supplied DN150 PE100 SDR17 HDPE potable water main Separable Portion 2: Duchess Road Open-Trench Water Main Extension Completion of the remaining unconstructed water main works shown on the Part 3 concept plans, excluding sections already installed by MICC Separable Portion 3: Northridge Road Water Main Replacement Construction of approximately 1.5 km of new DN150 potable water main adjacent to the existing main Testing, disinfection, commissioning, service transfers and cutover Objectives The objective is to deliver the three packages as an integrated water infrastructure program while maintaining clear scope, pricing and delivery responsibility for each Separable Portion. Contract Terms and Conditions Each Separable Portion shall be priced separately MICC may award one, two or all three Separable Portions under the Contract
