Overview Queensland Health is advising interested suppliers of an intention to release an Invitation to Offer (ITO) to the market for a single supplier to provide emergency helicopter services from Mackay and Rockhampton (VP510612). This notice is for information only and no action is required. About The ITO will be coordinated by Retrieval Services Queensland (RSQ), the body within the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) responsible for the clinical and logistic coordination and contract management of all statewide aeromedical tasking. Objectives Achieving value for Queensland and taxpayers' money Ensuring fair and open competition via an open tender procurement approach Scope The scope includes: Aeromedical patient transport, including pre-hospital retrieval and inter-facility transfer Search and rescue services Law enforcement support and/or support to other government agencies as required Tender Briefing A supplier briefing may be held to provide suppliers with information regarding the ITO requirements and to allow suppliers to raise questions. Instructions to Tenderers The anticipated timing for release of the ITO is likely to be during Quarter 4 of the 2026 calendar year. The ITO and any updates will be published on the etender portal under reference VP510612. Further updates may be provided via the etender portal.
