Pre-Qualified Register of Town Planning Consultants

Overview Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking to establish a register of pre-qualified town planning consultants. Scope The scope includes: Assessing development applications on council's behalf when application loads are high or internal resourcing is limited Assisting with the assessment of development applications where council has a real or perceived conflict of interest, for example where council is the landowner or applicant for a development application Assisting with the duty planner function, supporting the team with customer requests by phone and email Assessing applications for development incentives or grants under the Economic Stimulus Policy on council's behalf when application loads are high or internal resourcing is limited Assisting with the delivery of strategic planning projects when internal capacity is limited or during periods of leave Instructions to Tenderers Council intends to create a shortlist register of preferred suppliers from which detailed quotations will be requested during the contract period. Town planning consultants may nominate to be part of the register for development assessment and/or strategic land use tasks.
