Overview North Burnett Regional Council invites suitably experienced contractors to submit Offers for appointment to a non-exclusive, multi-supplier Preferred Supplier Arrangement (PSA) for gravel winning, crushing, screening, processing, stockpiling and associated services across Council's local government area. About North Burnett Regional Council is a regional Queensland local government servicing a large and geographically dispersed area incorporating the principal townships and surrounding communities of Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Monto, Mount Perry and Mundubbera. Council manages and maintains an extensive road and transport network supporting residents, agricultural production, freight, industry, tourism, emergency access and connectivity between rural communities. The scale of the region, dispersed road network and distances between material sources create significant logistical and programming considerations. Gravel is a critical input to Council's road infrastructure program. Purpose This public tender is intended to establish a capable and competitive supplier pool, transparent commercial arrangements and a proportionate Work Order allocation framework for planned, reactive and urgent gravel requirements. Scope The scope includes: Gravel winning services across Council's local government area Crushing and screening of gravel Processing of gravel materials Stockpiling of gravel Associated gravel supply services Contractor Requirements Suitably experienced in gravel winning, crushing, screening, processing and stockpiling operations Capable of mobilising suitable crushing and screening operations in response to forward works, maintenance priorities, externally funded programs, disaster recovery and other operational requirements Contract Terms and Conditions Appointment establishes eligibility to be considered for future Work Orders. It does not guarantee work, expenditure, tonnage, market share, geographic territory, rotation or exclusivity.
