Overview Banana Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for appointment to a Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (ROPS) to provide waste facilities mulching, shredding and transport services throughout the Shire. The panel will be used to engage suppliers for all 10 waste transfer stations within the Banana Shire local government area. Scope The scope includes: Provision of mulching, shredding and transport services at waste facilities across the Banana Shire, as detailed in Part 5 – Scope Delivery of these services at all 10 waste transfer stations within the Banana Shire local government area Contract Terms and Conditions Successful tenderers will be awarded pre-qualified supplier status for an initial term ending 30 June 2028 Council reserves the option to extend the arrangement for a further twelve (12) months at its discretion Instructions to Tenderers The Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (ROPS) will be reviewed and updated annually at the commencement of each financial year. New contractors and suppliers are encouraged to apply for inclusion on the panel by submitting the required tender documentation during the annual review process. Existing pre-qualified suppliers may also submit updated schedules of rates and pricing, including adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) or other approved cost increases, for Council's consideration as part of the annual panel review.
