Overview CQUniversity Australia (CQU) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified contractor to design and construct a Student Recreation Space within Building ROK034, by converting two existing teaching spaces (Rooms G.08 and G.10) into one room. Purpose The project forms part of the Rockhampton TAFE Excellence Precinct Project and supports CQUniversity's commitment to enhancing the student experience by providing informal spaces where students can socialise, have meals and relax between classes. Scope The scope includes: Design and construction of a Student Recreation Space within Building ROK034, converting Rooms G.08 and G.10 into one room Development of the design through to construction documentation, based on CQU's concept drawings and in accordance with CQU's Design Standards Manual v29 Obtaining all necessary approvals to deliver a complete, fully operational student recreation space Provision of all labour, materials, plant, equipment, supervision and professional services necessary to achieve Practical Completion Contract Terms and Conditions The project will be delivered under a Design and Construct (D&C) contract, AS4902-2000 (Amended) Instructions to Tenderers For detailed information on the specific services sought under this tender, please review the "Procurement Invitation Form" in Schedule 4, Scope of Requirements and Specifications, page 08 of 14.
