It will be free parking available to the public – no payment 26/May/2026 10:32 AM Question : Good morning, Please find below our formal request for clarification regarding the excavation scope under T2526.38 Splash Park Car Park, Biloela. 1. Can Council confirm whether the 209 m³ of excavation under line item 32101 reflects the current design intent, or whether the design is under review? 2. The tender documents (Appendix H – AMP/SERS) confirm that contaminated land, including asbestos, is present within the works area. Where excavation below natural surface is required, our contracted Hygienist has advised that government approval will be required to confirm depth of excavated material. This creates a significant risk for the contractor, as the full extent of affected material cannot be determined without further investigation. We request Council advise how this risk is intended to be managed and allocated under the contract. 3. The IFC drawings (Dwg. 1500-2526-7805) identify a mature tree within the works footprint that is required to be removed. Any tree removal will involve ground disturbance and is therefore subject to the same contamination and approval considerations noted above. We request Council confirm the scope of tree removal required, including whether full root ball extraction is intended. 4. In conjunction with this clarification, we kindly request an Extension of Time. We would appreciate Council's written response, please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to discuss any of the above. How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
