About this tender
Overview Woorabinda Aboriginal Shire Council invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the delivery of Stage 2 of the Women's Sporting Hub, being the establishment of the new Home of Women's Sport in Woorabinda. About Stage 1 is the supply and installation of the modular clubhouse. Works for Stage 1 are not within this tender. Stage 3 works will follow, with a time-frame to be confirmed, comprising a hardcover roof over the two courts with competition standard lighting. Purpose As the second stage of the Women's Sporting Hub program, this package provides key community infrastructure that will contribute to a cohesive, high-quality sporting precinct for the Woorabinda community. The Stage 2 scope, together with the clubhouse, will ensure the precinct provides the women of Woorabinda with a welcoming, family-friendly, safe community space. Scope The scope includes: Construction of 2 x multi-purpose sporting concrete courts Covered grandstand seating Concrete paths Design and installation of electrical, water, sewer and drainage to the clubhouse Playground and associated works, as per the technical specification Contractor Requirements Works are to be completed in accordance with approved design documentation, applicable guidelines, and best-practice construction methods
