About this tender

The existing irrigation system at Argana Park has reached the end of its operational asset life and is due for renewal. The City of Playford is seeking quotes from suitably qualified contractors to deliver the Argana Park irrigation renewal works in accordance with the attached irrigation design and the City of Playford Irrigation Technical Specifications. The project involves staged irrigation renewal works across multiple sporting ovals within Argana Park. Due to ongoing seasonal use by sporting clubs, careful coordination and sequencing of works will be required to minimise disruption and maintain oval availability throughout the construction period. The Works must commence no later than September 2026 and be performed in a continuous and uninterrupted manner from commencement through to completion. Scope of Works The scope of works includes but is not limited to: • Supply and installation of all irrigation components as per the attached design drawings, including pipework, valves, sprinklers, fittings, and associated infrastructure to ensure a complete and operational system. • Connection to existing services where required. • Testing, commissioning, and handover of the system in line with the City of Playford’s specifications. • Reinstatement of all disturbed surfaces to Council satisfaction, including trench reinstatement to achieve a level playing surface, with turf reinstated and established to a condition suitable for ongoing sporting club use. • Compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulations, and Council requirements. • Coordination of works to ensure sporting club access and oval availability is maintained as required throughout the delivery period. Construction Sequencing Requirements The irrigation renewal works are required to be delivered in the following mandatory sequence to accommodate sporting club usage and seasonal oval availability. Works must commence in September 2026 and follow the works sequencing as outlined below: 1. Oval 4 2. Oval 1 3. Oval 2 4. Oval 3 Contractors must plan and stage works accordingly to minimise disruption to sporting activities and ensure only the active construction area is taken offline at any given time. Irrigation systems servicing ovals not currently under construction must remain fully operational throughout the project duration. Once works on an individual oval are completed, that oval must be immediately reconnected and fully operational for irrigation purposes while works progress on subsequent stages. This will be a lump sum agreement with all pricing to be lodged using the RFT Response Schedules located in Section F. Compliance Tables are located in the Tender Response Schedules – Section F. The Council will enter into a Works Agreement for these Services with the successful Tenderer. Enquiries David Paull Office: +61 (08) 82560163 Email: dpaull@playford.sa.gov.au

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
